KEYNOTE: Shared Blessings and Harvest

Sunday morning, getting ready to leave to set up at the Farmers Market, I was shutting things off in my office, and outside the window, where I can see the other garden I tilled, to my surprise walking around its perimeter was one turkey, seemingly, giving the garden a good once over. My first thought was oh great; now turkeys are going to come in, dig up the garden with their scratching and its not even planted yet. However knowing turkeys usually come in flocks, I looked farther out the window to see if there were more, there were not. How odd.

I admired the beauty of the bird, which surprised me because my minds eye thought turkeys weren’t a pretty bird, but this one looked different. It was brown with a reddish tail that reminded me of a Red Tail Hawks tail. She merely moseyed around the garden, not going in, just looking at it, for a few minutes, as if she was simply admiring. Wanting to feel closer to her for some reason, I opened my window to ask her what she was doing there, and she ran in to the woods.
After she left, I thought of the book Animal Speak by Ted Andrews I am reading. It is about animal totems and their meanings. I decided to look up Turkey totems. Because getting one lone turkey, not a flock is rare.

CYCLE OF POWER: Autumn
The turkey is sometimes called the earth eagle. It has a long history of association with spirituality and the honoring of the Earth Mother. It is a symbol of all the blessings the Earth contains, along with the ability to use them to their greatest advantage. The turkey can live to be 12. Twelve is a significant number in that the earth revolves around the sun in the 12 months, reflecting a tie between the turkey and the honoring life cycle of the Earth. Those who have a turkey totem can usually expect a year of harvest.
Turkeys’ have an intricate mythology among Native Americans. They helped create the world and showed the humans how to grow corn.
So…does this mean that this visit by one of Mother Natures creatures to my new tilled garden is her way of telling me I made the right choice and that garden is going to grow good there. We shall all see:)

I’ve been lax…as you can see.

I promised I would keep you posted on how my natural healing is going.

8 weeks into the program

I am done with the Para CL. I won’t know if that worked until I go back and she does another Iridology exam.
Taking the Life Source, I’ve found my moods are more even, and my stamina is higher.
The Thyroid Cell Salts…I know are definitely working, 10 days into taking them…I could feel the swelling in my thyroid had gone down.  By Easter, I could see at the base of my throat area the swelling had gone down.
Though I’ve not lost only a couple pounds…I’ve no longer put it on, and I am not dieting.

In addition, the exciting news is a few days ago…I notice, my eyebrow hair is growing back in.
One of the signs of a malfunctioning thyroid is loss of hair at the end of you eyebrows…and I was bald. I had resorted to penciling something in. UGH...
But there it was, blond and fair…hair growing…I am thrilled! I like to show everyone…as if they’d really be interested:)

This week…May 18th I took my husband for a session. It was very interesting, very interesting in deed. I’ll keep you posted on his journey…hopefully better than I’ve kept you posted on mine.
